The BES820XL features a full 15 bars of pressure combined with a special patented Triple Prime pump that automatically shoots three quick bursts of steaming hot water into the filter head and creates a much higher pressure inside the device; this allows more crema to be ejected into the beverage leading to a more smooth and rich taste and also prevents burning. A unique dual action selector dial allows users to turn to the right for Espresso extraction and to the left to start the steam wand and activate the milk frothing function. The device also includes lights which illuminate to let users know the machine is turned on or heated. An included stainless steel cup warming tray can heat up to six Espresso cups simultaneously.
